My fascination with rocks began when I was a young girl visiting a cave in former Yugoslavia. I was transfixed by the glimmer of white formations surrounding a bizarrely colored pool of water. The elderly guide noticed my state of wonder, and broke off a piece of stalactite, which currently lives on a shelf in my studio.

Ma fascination pour les rochers a commencé lorsque j’étais une jeune fille et que j’ai visité une grotte en ex-Yougoslavie. J’ai été fascinée par le scintillement des formations blanches entourant un bassin d’eau aux couleurs bizarres. Le guide âgé a remarqué mon émerveillement et en a cassé un morceau de stalactite pour moi. Celui-ci se trouve actuellement sur une étagère dans mon atelier.
